A las playas de Guanacaste!

A las playas de Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Playas Conchal, Brasilito, Flamingo, Mina

Lago Arenal a Playa Conchal: 3 hs

There are lots of choices of beaches in the Guanacaste region so you have to pick one (or a few) to visit. We went to Brasilito that has mostly small hotels (except for one of the largest all-inclusives in CR) and is not as busy as the beaches north (Papagayo) and south (Tamarindo) from here. We stayed at a nice, small hotel and divided our days between the beach and the pool. It’s rainy season so mornings are predictably sunny and afternoons are predictably rainy. We went to playa Brasilito, playa Conchal, playa Flamingo and a ‘secret’ beach (Playa Mina). Apparently seldom visited by tourists, playa Mina is the site where a huge resort was going to be built but abandoned at an early stage (after clearing the jungle and laying down some cement). We found that it is as beautiful as the other surrounding beaches except that we were indeed the only ones there.
M and T are taking full advantage of the Abus, spending lots of time with them.
