New York!!! Familia and U.S. Open

New York City: reunión familiar y US Open
3 al 6 de Septiembre, 2011

Finalmente llegamos a NYC!

New York, New York!
We finally made it to New York (it didn’t take us that long, we’ve been in Boston for about a month and busy getting back to sedentary life😦, but I’ll pretend we are still on the road). E’s sister and mother and M and T’s cousins were waiting. It was great to get together after such a long time and the kids got immediately busy playing non-stop. E’s extended family had also convened in NY to watch cousin Mati from Chile play the U.S. Open. We had family from New York, California, Canada and Chile and it was also great to spend time together with them. The weather was not great but we managed to watch Mati win his first match. We stayed a few extra days to watch the second match but matches kept getting postponed and we had to be back for T to start school.
We also celebrated M’s third birthday with the family. She was very excited about the celebration although she has been saying she is three for a few months now.
